Juan Luis Guerra compuso 'Bachata Rosa' en 1990 y se convirtió en el disco de bachata más vendido de la historia, ganando el Grammy Latino al mejor álbum. La bachata — género originario de la República Dominicana, considerado música de arrabal durante décadas — fue legitimada internacionalmente por Guerra. With no sharps or flats, C major is the theoretical home base on guitar. The open G, B, and high E strings all belong to the C major chord, creating natural sustain.
