Una de las baladas más tiernas de Jobim (1959). 'Dindi' es un vocablo cariñoso en portugués. El Ebdim7 cromático en el A section (entre E y D) y el puente que modula a Bb mayor son la firma bossa de Jobim: tensión cromática suave que nunca incomoda. A# (Bb) major requires barre chords rooted at fret 1 on the A string or fret 6 on the E string. Despite the barre demands, it is a common key in funk, New Orleans R&B, and brass band music.
