La cubana Isolina Carrillo compuso este bolero en 1947, inmortalizado por Ibrahim Ferrer en 'Buena Vista Social Club' (1997). La letra — 'dos gardenias para ti' — es poesía pura; la armonía es el bolero clásico de Fa mayor con un puente que oscila hacia Re menor antes de la resolución final.
