Carlos Gardel y Alfredo Le Pera compusieron 'Mi Buenos Aires Querido' en 1934 en Hollywood. Gardel la cantó en la película 'Cuesta Abajo' meses antes de morir en el accidente de Medellín en 1935. Es el tango del exilio y la nostalgia por la ciudad: el inmigrante, el emigrado, el viajante que añora el barrio.
